There
is no denying that the most treasured possessions in most of our lives
are captured images of our loved ones. Photographs, sketches, recorded
film and even caricatures for the light-hearted. Abbozzati Portraits
decided to take that treasure and convert it into something unique,
eye-catching and beautiful yet very durable to be kept, intact, forever.
A family portrait engraved onto the surface of a polished stainless steel
plaque becomes a cool, crisp and very attractive display to compliment
any room whether it be the living room, public bar or the office.
How do we do it?
Abbozzati Portraits take an image such as a photograph, sketch or video
still and sketch an outline, paying great attention to the
details crucial to the subject’s characteristics such as trademark
dimples or a cute wrinkle. The outline is then carefully engraved onto
the surface of a plate made from brass, glass or stainless steel and
polished to a high glossy shine ready to make an impact.
All you need to do is send us your favourite photograph*, and we will
get to work on converting it to sketch and send you a copy of the result
on paper to check you are happy with the details. We will then have the
image engraved onto the material of your choice and send you your plaque
-
it is that simple.
You may decide to have text on the
plaque such as a touching message or a caption such as ‘first a baby's First
Steps’. In fact anything you like…it’s
yours forever.
